Ingredients
4 servings
- 1 pack of Entremont® Special Pizza Shredded Cheese (125 g)
- 1 rectangular puff pastry
- 1 butternut squash
- 1 small tub of cream (20 cl)
- 1 teaspoon of wholegrain mustard
- 1 drizzle of olive oil
- 1 sprig of thyme
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 handful of pumpkin seeds
- salt and freshly ground pepper
Steps
- 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- 2
Peel the squash, cut it in half, and remove the seeds. Using a sharp knife, slice the butternut squash into thin strips approximately 1 cm thick.
- 3
Peel and press the garlic clove. In a small bowl, mix the crème fraîche, mustard, and pressed garlic. Season with salt and pepper.
- 4
Place the squash strips in a bowl. Season with salt, pepper, add the thyme, and drizzle with a generous amount of olive oil. Mix by hand to coat all the butternut slices.
- 5
Butter a rectangular tart pan and line it with the pastry. Prick the bottom with a fork.
- 6
Spread a layer of the cream/mustard mixture and cover with the Entremont® Special Pizza Shredded Cheese. Arrange the butternut slices on top (make sure to space them out well so they roast evenly).
- 7
Bake for 25 minutes and add the pumpkin seeds halfway through cooking. Serve hot accompanied by a green salad.
