- 10 g grated Comté cheese
- 4 onions
- pickled gherkin (optional)
- 50 g Comté cheese (more or less according to your taste)
- 6 potatoes (preferably large)
- 1 butternut squash
- 1 knob of butter
- 20 g Comté cheese
- 1 pinch of pepper
- 20 ml milk
- 1 pinch of salt
- 4 teaspoons of sesame seeds
- bunch of chives

Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).

Wash the butternut squash and peel it. Cut the seedless part into round slices about 1.5 cm thick.

Place the slices on a non-stick baking sheet or parchment paper. Brush the rounds with oil, a pinch of salt, and pepper. Sprinkle the 10g of grated Comté cheese on top.

Bake in the middle of the oven for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, in a frying pan, melt a little butter or oil over low heat, then add the peeled and chopped onions. Cook for a few minutes then remove from heat.

Peel the potatoes and place them in a pot of hot water for 20 minutes. Then drain them.

Mash the potatoes using a fork or a potato masher. Incorporate a knob of butter and 20 ml of milk into the mixture. Then season with salt, pepper, chopped chives, and the 20g of Comté cheese cut into small cubes.

Remove the tray from the oven, wait a few minutes, and place a slice of butternut squash on the bottom of your plate. Add 2 generous spoonfuls of mash, a few pickles cut in half lengthwise, and some onions.

Cut thin slices of the 50g of Comté cheese and place them on top. Close the burger with the final slice of butternut squash and sprinkle with a spoonful of sesame seeds.
